Hey, I recently made a change to the forum which should help alot of people but I want to know if you like it?

Our site gets 100,000 page views a month and if VIPS get their video on the side even for a few hours It should benefit them!

Hi, I can't get any video to show up in any post in a thread on here for some reason.

I click on the you tube/dailymotion link, paste my video link from my youtube channel in there, click on ok, but then nothing happens, the bar with the youtube url link just stays where it is, no getting rid of it, nothing, the video doesn't, as normal, aooear in the psot I'm trying to make, so I have to leave the page.

I've tried doing the same in the other thread, post your videos's here, same thing

Any Ideas as to why?

I just found this out myself.  To get your video to actually show up and play in a webpage, you have to go to the actual youtube video page, click the "share" button, then click the "embed" button.  That will then open a box with a link thing in it.  Copy that and past it on the page you are wanting to make.

Thanks for the help, I tried it but I still couldn't get it to work, same result, the box just stayed where it was with the you tube link in it.

I even tried with just the 'SHARE' link, same result, can't see why it won't work tbh.

Thats weird. I know you have to copy the link from the embed box for it to work on websites. Maybe youtube is just being funky at the moment.

I think it is youtube.  I just tried to test it with my own video and when I clicked the "share" button, nothing happened.  Technology is stupid

No I think it's an issue with this site, because I just tried uploading a video to another gaming forum I'm a member of and it did with no problems at all, tried again here but nothing, also, sometimes when I hit the reply button I get just the 'POST TITLE' box at the top, with 2 rows of icon boxes underneath that???

As you know we usually get a DESCRIPTION' box underneath the 'POST TITLE' Box, and underneath the 2 rows of 'Icon boxes we get a load of other icon boxes we can choose from, this is what I'm on about:



I only get that page when I click the reply button on certain pages here today for some reason, I can upload a video on that page I made a screen shot of, click on the 'youtube' icon and away you go, and and other pages that gives us the full range of posting options as above, but not the single 'POST TITLE' Box with the 2 Rows of Icons underneath, those Threads/pages do not work properly
